Securing the Future aims to provide connections between startups, SMEs, corporates and investors to accelerate innovations for peacekeeping and justice. The programme will consist of interactive sessions, technological demonstrations and networking opportunities.

What to expect?
Monday, 23 June | 08:30 – 18:00h
The urgency for international cooperation on themes such as cyber resilience, space, data security, and unmanned systems is greater than ever. Also access to capital in this industry is of high interest. Through a strong networking and matchmaking programme, this event contributes to strengthening the position of The Hague and the region, as well as the Netherlands’ role in the security and defence innovation landscape.
Throughout the day you will have the opportunity to attend a variety of sessions, such as:
- Plenary keynotes from global thought leaders.
- Thematical exposition and showcases in domains such as security and defence.
- Inspiring knowledge sessions, panel discussions and workshops on facilitating dialogue on critical issues such as general resilience, cybersecurity and hybrid threats.

Securing the Future will address discussions such as:
- What is the 3-5 years outlook with regards to defence and security?
- How will technological paradigm shifts such as AI, quantum or commercial space impact the needs for new solutions in defence and security?
- Who are the technology pioneers preparing for this future, and how can we ensure innovation progress is accelerated?
- How can innovation support a more secure and resilient society?
Matchmaking & Networking
The aim is to strengthen (inter)national connections for entrepreneurs by bringing together the Dutch and international NATO ecosystem, focusing on startups, SMEs, corporates, defence and security organizations, and investors.To support meaningful connections, you will be able to indicate via the event app who you would like to meet.
Registrants will receive an email and login to access the matchmaking platform by the end of May.

During the day you can decide yourself which elements of the programme you would like to participate in. Whether you would like to actively engage in a group session or when you would like to withdraw and dive into interesting conversations. Securing the Future is all about creating meaningful moments, connect with impactful relations and accelerate innovations.
Please note that there are maximum spots available per session. Each session has limited capacity, but no pre-registration is required. There are plenty of engaging alternative sessions available if the maximum capacity has been reached, and you’re welcome to network and explore the various booths during the event.
